TARIFFS UPDATE

News Update! April 9th.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that during a 90-day period, all countries—including Canada and Mexico, which were previously exempt—will be subject to a uniform 10% tariff.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also noted that specific sector tariffs, such as the 25% tariffs on automotive and steel products, will be reduced to 10% during this time.

“There will be a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs while negotiations continue, and all tariffs will be adjusted to a standard 10%,” Leavitt explained.
